Leicester City forward and Nigeria international Ahmed Musa has completed a loan move to CSKA Moscow from Leicester until the end of the season, and this has been confirmed by the Russian club, although Leicester is yet to confirm the deal.
Ahmed Musa initially joined Leicester from CSKA Moscow in July 2016 in a 16 million Pounds deal that was then a club record deal at Leicester
However, the 25-year-old has struggled to make his mark in the Leicester side, having scored just 4 goals in 31 games last season, and has been barely used this term with just two appearances.
“CSKA and Leicester City agreed the loan of Ahmed Musa today until the end of 2017-18 season,” the Russian club disclosed on their official website.
“Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues’ squad for the national league and the Uefa Europa League knockout stage.”
