According to reports, Juventus have identified a replacement for Alex Sandro who is reportedly Chelsea-bound, and this development will most definitely speed up his move to Stamford Bridge. The move to London will establish him as the world’s most expensive defender and the Serie A side appear to have found a replacement for the Brazilian defender.
Calcio Mercato has revealed that plans have been put in place to recall their on-loan wide man Leonardo Spinazzola and offer him fresh terms to continue with Juventus. Spinazzola who currently plays for Atalanta will be recalled to assume the helm at Juventus’ defensive left-hand side after the departure of Alex Sandro.
Earlier today, Fox Sports pundit Janusz Michallik opined that the deal to bring Alex Sandro to Stamford Bridge was definitely done and dusted
He said: “I think it’s a done deal.
“There’s some question marks for me at Chelsea. I love him, I have no idea why Juventus would get rid of him.
“Obviously they have got rid of some big, big players and they’ve proven to everybody they can still move on.
“If you look at Pirlo, Tevez and Pogba, they’re still capable.
“I think he’s a tremendous player in that back four.
“As we know at Chelsea, there is no left-back. (They have) Marcos Alonso, (so) I can see why he would play wing-back.
“I still think he’s better in a back four system, but I’m going to say that this is going to be a hit regardless because he’s that good and that’s going to happen.”
