Chelsea attacker and Belgian international Eden Hazard has insisted that he is happy and satisfied with life at Chelsea but would also give ears to any offer from European Champions Real Madrid.
The Belgian who helped the Blues to the 2016/2017 Premier League title by scoring 16 goals is still open to any negotiations that may be initiated by the Galacticos.
His brilliant performance for Chelsea in 2016 after a horror spell in 2015 reportedly caught the eye of Real Madrid French manager Zinedine Zidane over the course of the 2016/2017 season, as news sources have revealed that he is keen to have Eden Hazard playing a major part in his squad.
The move of Eden Hazard from Madrid to Chelsea may yet still materialize before the close of the summer transfer window and the 26-year-old has admitted that he would listen to any offer from the white boys in Santiago Bernabeu.
Eden Hazard said: “Of course, I would consider it if Madrid made an offer,”
“I am keen to win trophies. It would be great to win the Champions League. But Chelsea’s goal is to win the Champions League as well. Honestly, I do not know what will happen.
“I only know that I still have a contract with Chelsea for three seasons and that we just had an amazing 2016-17 campaign. We want to continue on this path and want to build on this in the Champions League.
“I am feeling very well at Chelsea. But you never know what will happen.
“I have not met with the board yet to discuss a new deal. I have two games with Belgium coming up first and I am off on my holiday after that. I want to think about football as little as possible.”
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea will be representing England in the UEFA Champions League next season and would definitely be intent on keeping hold of their best legs as they return to Europe’s topmost club competition. We wait to see how Chelsea will respond if Real Madrid eventually make an offer for Eden Hazard
