Reports from France suggest that Manchester United summer transfer target and Monaco ace has agreed personal terms with French giants PSG. Man United have been linked with a move for Fabinho in recent weeks and had reportedly seen the midfielder as an ideal solution in midfield that would suit their style of play.
However, the player may be set to join rivals PSG in the French Ligue 1 if the reports are genuine. According to L’Equipe, the two clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee but PSG are said to have improved their chances of acquiring Fabinho from the Ligue 1 champions who were reportedly not interested in letting the player move to a domestic rival, although, a fee in the region of € 50 million could convince the Ligue 1 champions to sell.
Reports from InfoSport also indicate that Monaco rejected a €35 million bid from Atletico Madrid for the services of Fabinho despite their transfer ban. The La Liga outfit can’t register any signings this summer but can register new signings from January.
This means they can still do business with other clubs this summer, although any signing made will only see action on the pitch for the club next January
