Reports emerging from top foreign news sources indicate that Nigerian young attacking sensation, Henry Onyekuru is reportedly attracting interest from some top clubs with the likes of Everton, Southampton and West Brom leading the pack in the race for his signature.
The Nigerian attacker and youth sensation, Henry Onyekuru, aged 19, has been a revelation in the Belgian top flight this season and established his prowess as a top attacker as he scored his 22nd goal on Wednesday night to effectively emerge as the top goal scorer in Belgium this season.
According to Sky Sports, the forward’s representatives have expressed the forward’s desire to play in the Premier League next season, and that talks with clubs that weren’t mentioned were understood to be going on progressively since this week.
Sources close to the player have revealed their confidence that the forward will definitely be playing in the Premier league next season. Onyekuru who has a release clause valued at £6.8 million has reportedly turned down previous offers from the likes of Anderlecht and Brugge.
Scottish giants, Celtic, came close to capturing his signature earlier in January but Eupen opted not to sell the player during the course of the winter transfer window.
