Reports suggest that Juventus are confident that Bosnia international Miralem Pjanic will be fit to play against Napoli on Sunday night.
Pjanic was forced off the pitch in the first half of the win against Sampdoria and played no part in the draw away to Crotone which effectively threw the race for the Serie A title open as Napoli will surely fancy their chances when both sides meet on Sunday.
The game on Sunday should unarguably be the most significant of the Serie A season, and Pjanic’s absence will surely be felt by Juventus. However, reports from Sky suggest that Juventus are confident of his return ahead of the crunch tie.
The Old Ladies are holding an afternoon training session at Vinovo today, and Pjanic was present to train with his teammates. The session was not open to the public, and he may have followed a separate training programme from his teammates.
