Reports suggest that Sevilla are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshauyi on a six-month loan deal
Batshuayi has had limited chances at Stamford Bridge this season with Alvaro Morata getting the nod as Chelsea’s lone man up front most of the time
His situation at the club appears to be compounded by Conte’s choice of starting Eden Hazard as a false nine rather than have the Belgian striker upfront in significant ties, as was evidenced in the Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town.
With competition for a place at the World Cup getting stiffer, the former Marseille forward has to get more game time to his belt to convince Belgium coach Roberto Martinez to include him in his plans for the world cup
Batshauyi has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this January and Sevilla appear to be interested while also keeping tabs on Monaco’s Stevan Jovetic and Everton’s Sandro Ramirez.
However, there are indications that Chelsea will only be willing to let the striker leave on a temporary basis if they can find a replacement for him in this window.
Possible contenders are Andy Caroll who has been shockingly linked with a Chelsea move, as well as Moussa Marega and Richmond Boakye.
