AC Milan consider loan move for Andreas Christensen
According to reports in Italy, AC Milan are considering a move for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen. The Italians are in the market for a new center-back and have also been linked with Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo recently.
However. negotiations between both parties about a loan deal for Todibo have stalled, forcing Milan to turn their attention to Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen.
The Denmark international has struggled to nail a starting spot in Frank Lampard’s team this season and could be offloaded if the right offer is received for his services.
According to Sky in Italy, the potential deal will see Christensen leave Stamford Bridge on loan with an option to buy. The 23-year-old has not had action in the Premier League since early December but started in the FA Cup win against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Christensen has fallen behind the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori on the pecking order under Frank Lampard.
