Argentina Win The Qatar 2022 World Cup

Argentina have won the Qatar 2022 World Cup after beating France 4:2 on penalties in a fiercely contested encounter that saw both sides tied at 3 all after extra time.

The game could easily be described as the Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe show although the latter came out tops as his side dethroned the defending champions. The game can also pass as one of the most exciting World Cup final matches of all time and Qatar 2022 will also pass as one of the most exciting World Cup tournaments ever.

It is a no-brainer that Lionel Messi has now established himself as one of the greatest of all time and arguably the G.O.A.T. The game started with Argentina on the high as they dominated the French team who were out of sorts and went 2 nil up before the end of the first half.

The French team looked stunned and were lethargic, forcing Didier Deschamps to make two early substitutions, taking off Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann in the 41st minute and replacing them with Marcus Thuram and Kolo Muani respectively.

Regardless, the French team came to life at the 80th-minute mark as they were gifted a penalty which Kylian Mbappe converted and went one better with another goal barely two minutes later.

The Argentines had to succumb to an extra time push from the French team but took the lead via Lionel Messi in the second half of extra time only for Les Bleus to be gifted another penalty that Kylian Mbappe converted under what can be described as the lost intense pressure he has had to deal with thus far in his footballing career.
