According to reports from the Mirror, Chelsea are tracking Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson and will be watching him regularly from now till the end of the year.
The 26-year-old has been impressive for Eddie Howe’s Cherries this season and has scored 7 goals in 13 games. He also has 4 assists to his name.
The report claims that the Blues could make a January move for the striker if he continues to impress for Bournemouth.
The Blues only have Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud as their only striking options. With the latter yet to find the back of the net this season, it’s only normal that the Blues will go all out to sign a striker in January.
Meanwhile, Callum Wilson is contracted to Bournemouth until 2022 and scored his 50th goal for the club in the 2:1 defeat to Manchester United last Saturday.
No Englishman has had a hand in more goals than Wilson this summer and the player is expected to be named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad on Thursday.
