Chelsea have won their appeal against the two-window transfer ban and can now make additions to their squad in the January transfer window.
The Blues took their appeal against the ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after FIFA ordered a sanction against the club due to the acquisition of young players in February.
FIFA initially found the London club guilty of breaching article 19 of its regulations regarding the status and transfer of players, centering on the protection of minors. They were also found guilty of breaching article 18 concerning third-party influence.
The Blues have already served the first window of the ban and have been impressing under Frank Lampard, regardless. Meanwhile, the Blues have been linked with the likes of Leicester’s Ben Chilwell and Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho
