David Moyes among nominees for Barclays manager of the season

David Moyes seems a rejuvenated manager since his return to management in the Premier League with West Ham. The Londoners have been punching above their weight since the Scottish manager took over and they narrowly missed out on a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.

However, they got to settle for a place in the Europa League next season and this is a big development for West Ham who haven’t been in Europe since the 2006/07 football season.

With this notable improvement to the West Ham side, it comes as no surprise that David Moyes is one of the five managers who have been nominated for the 2020/21 Barclays Manager of the Season award.

Moyes undoubtedly transformed the Hammers from relegation battlers to candidates for the Champions League in less than 12 months of his taking over.
