The agent of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has revealed that everything is possible when asked if the Brazilian could make a move to Juventus anytime soon. Reports suggest that the Old Ladies have identified the Brazil international as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain and are believed to lining up a move worth £58m
He didn’t rule out the possibility of a move to Turin but claimed that the 22-year-old would not force a move away from the Etihad unless he was deemed surplus to requirement.
“We are talking about a great footballer and a great club, everything is possible. The difficulties of acquiring power will lead to not making many movements, it is better to have who you already have in the house, there will not be a large market going out,” Branchini told Calciomercato.
“Some clubs with great economic difficulties could give rise to some sensational exchange, previously unthinkable. I am convinced that he will stay at City as long as City want him, as long as the team wants to maintain a certain type of profile.
“The only hypothesis I see is that if the owners should reduce their commitment or ambitions – which I don’t think will happen – he will accept the farewell, but he will never want to leave.”
Gabriel Jesus has played 39 times for the Citizens this season and has scored 18 goals.
