Golden Vow Elden Ring – How To Find; Uses

The Tarnished spellcasters must search for a cabin which is along the Road of Iniquity on Mt. Gelmir to get the Golden Vow Erdtree Incantation. This Golden Vow is an Erdtree Incantation that blesses the caster and other allies with a holy light which will increase to 15% their attacking power and 105 for their damage which will last for about 80 seconds.

The Eritrea Incantation which requires about 25 Faith and 47 FP is the most vital Spell for building types.

To elongate the duration of the Golden Vow, you should swap in the Old Lord’s Talisman before casting. With this system, the duration will be increased to 104 seconds, which makes it very vital for stacking buffs before each fight.

You should be aware that the Golden Vow’s blessing will be depleted when used in PvP. The decrease can appear as follows: damage <7.5% to more attack power and can only be boosted again to 5% when attacking another player.

Many players are getting this confused, Ash of War is very different from the Erdtree Incantation which sometimes goes with the same name.

The Golden Vow acts as an innate weapon art for the Golden Halberd and may be acquired as a skill to be used in other weapons through its Ash of War. Even though it has Spells, it still offers less effective buffs. Since Golden Vow does not stack with other area buffs such as the Rallying Standard, it’s mostly referred to as an area buff.

However, you can operate it with other body buffs and also weapon buffs after being cast. Here are some skills you can integrate with the Golden Vow:

  • Flame Grant Me Strength: this increases the damage buff.
  • Black Flame’s Protection: this increase the physical damage negation.
  • Protection of the Erdtree: this increase the non-physical damage negation.
  • Ash of War: Royal Knight’s Resolve, thereby increasing the first hit damage of your weapon.

You can get this Golden Vow at the Corpse-Stench Shack which is in front of the broken bridge in Mt. Gelmir. Here, you will be ambushed by Anastasia, Tarnished Eater.

To reach this Corpse-Stench Shack, Tarnished will have to move from Erdtree-Gazing Hill, North of the Grand Lift of Dectus. You will have to take the north pole through the deserted Valley reaching the Old Altus Tunnel.

As you head on, the trail will become too narrow, turn to your right to see a Spiritspring Jump hidden behind the trees.

Get on the spring and move onto the ridge above to see another Spiritspring Jump leading that less to the path near the bridge of Iniquity. You will need to cross the bridge, and head up to the slop until reaching several Abductor Virgins.

You will have to pass the Elden Ring Abductor Virgins to get to the Corpse-Stench Shack. Before you could enter here, if this is your first time coming, you will need to dismount.

Anastasia mentioned above will appear to eat Tarnished. You will have to defeat it and she will drop her Weird Knife. Now enter the Corpse-Stench Shack and loot the corpse to receive the Golden Vow Incantation.

If you need to get the Ash of War, you will have to move to the northeast of the Warmaster’s Shack in Limgrave and annihilate the Godrick Spear Knight Rider patrolling the area.
