Gonzalo Higuain has returned to Juventus after the conclusion of his loan spell at Chelsea, the London outfit have confirmed.
The Argentine’s half-season spell with the London Blues was relatively unsuccessful as he scored just 5 goals in 18 games in all competitions.
His returns at the end of the season were definitely below par by the club’s standards at the end of the season, hence they decided to let him go by not triggering the option to make the deal permanent in light of a transfer ban.
Gonzalo Higuain will now link up with former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri in Turin, as he also moved in the same direction this summer. Maurizio Sarri and the player have worked together previously at Napoli, then Chelsea, and will now reunite at Juventus.
