The summer transfer is gradually approaching its closure and this will be the case in less than two weeks.
Therefore, a good number of teams are expected to finalize any additions or exits from their squads for the first half of the 2021/22 season that has begun across Europa.
Serie A giants AC Milan are in the market and recently expressed interest in Brazilian side Gremio’s Vanderson according to a report by UOL Esporte. They reportedly sent an offer worth €10-million, including bonuses for the player but Gremio were not interested in negotiating.
The youngster was reportedly targetted by Premier League side Arsenal but the right-back is considered non-negotiable behind the scenes at Gremio.
They believe that Vanderson will only appreciate in value in the coming months and this means that he would be worth more than what is currently being put on the table by AC Milan.
Vanderson, 20, still has a contract with Gremio until 2025 and has a release clause of €100-million.
His age has ensured that the Brazilian outfit are not in any hurry to let go of him unless the right offer that matched their valuation of the player is made.
Meanwhile, he has made 40 appearances for Gremio and has scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist thus far.
