Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has hinted that he could remain with the club beyond the end of the ongoing football season.
The Belgium international has reportedly refused to sign a new contract at the club leading to speculations that he might be set for a departure, with Real Madrid being a very likely destination.
Eden Hazard has now entered the final 18 months of his contract with Chelsea. However, he has pointed out that while he has spoken of his desire to explore options outside England, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s leaving Chelsea.
In a recent chat with France Football, Hazard said: “I’ve won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving.
“I’ve always said that I wanted to explore something different after England but there are also things that might make me stay.
“After the World Cup, I wanted to leave, but in the end I stayed at Chelsea and I’m playing one of the best seasons so far.”
