Reports from Marca in Spain claim that AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has agreed a deal to join Chelsea.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the Argentine striker this January as Maurizio Sarri is keen on a new striker due to his side’s recent struggles for goals.
A deal is expected to completed soon as Higuain has reportedly accepted Chelsea’s offer.
The deal that will see the Argentine move to Stamford Bridge appears to have been sanctioned by his parent club Juventus in conjunction with AC Milan where he is currently on loan.
It can be recalled that Higuain was a hit at Napoli under Maurizio Sarri before leaving for Juventus. He scored 36 Serie A goals during the 2015/16 season under the Italian tactician.
Higuain is expected to sign for Chelsea on loan with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer for about £36 million.
