Inter in talks to sign Hertha Berlin forward

Inter Milan have begun negotiations with Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin for the acquisition of versatile forward Matheus Cunha based on a report by Gianluca Di Marzio.

Cunha has been massive for Hertha Berlin since arriving from RB Leipzig at the beginning of the year and could be set to leave after spending just six months at the club.

The 21-year-old was a highly rated prospect in his time at RB Leipzig but opted for a winter move in January in a bid to get more playing time.

He has gotten what he wanted thus far and has scored 4 goals in his first 7 Bundesliga games for the club. He has played his part nicely in ensuring that Hertha have made a decent push away from the relegation zone.

They’ve started brilliantly on the resumption of Bundesliga action with 2 wins and 1 draw in 3 games. Cunha has found the back of the net twice in their last three league games.

The Serie A outfit have been monitoring the player’s progress for the past two years according to reports and are now in talks with Hertha Berlin about a potential deal for the forward ahead of the summer transfer window.
