Jorginho – We must be composed against Bayern Munich

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has insisted that the team must be aggressive all over the pitch when they face Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge in the UCL on Tuesday, adding that they must be composed if things do not go as planned.

The Blues have been far from convincing at Stamford Bridge this term in the Premier League with just 6 wins from 14 games although they were impressive against Spurs at the weekend. He insisted that the Blues must not press the panic button even if Bayern Munich got the upper hand in the game.

“There are two games so we can’t lose our mind and go crazy if something goes wrong.

“We need to be quiet, be smart,” the Brazil-born Italy international told British media.

“When you create and defend, you need to be more aggressive and have more belief.

“On Saturday we were helping each other and that’s very important. We need to keep doing this.

“We need to fight, run, hurt and believe in ourselves on the ball.

“When we have to defend we have to defend together … that’s what it takes to win big games.”

The second leg of the game will hold on March 18 at the Allianz Arena, the venue where the Blues beat the Bavarian giants to claim their first-ever UCL title in 2012.
