Juve reject Leicester’s £25.5m bid for Demiral
Juventus have rejected an offer of £25.5m from Leicester City for defender Merih Demiral according to reports from Sky in Italy. They are also understood to have rejected an offer of £34m from Borussia Dortmund for the 21-year-old.
Demiral joined Juventus from Sassuolo in July but is yet to cut it as a regular under Maurizio Sarri. He only has 5 games under his belt. He’s a center-back who can also deputize as a right-back and has been capped 12 times by the Turkish national team.
Meanwhile, Leicester have relied mostly on the partnership of Johnny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu this season with the duo having 49 appearances between them in all competitions.
The partnership has seen the Foxes emerge with the best defensive record in the Premier League this term with just 19 goals conceded in 21 games.
