Juventus are reportedly putting plans in place to offer Bosnia international Miralem Pjanic a new contract to ward off interest from La Liga giants Barcelona.
Pjanic has established himself as one of the mainstays in Massimiliano Allegri’s team. scoring seven goals and providing nine assists in the concluded season.
Meanwhile, there has been heightening speculations on interest from Barcelona in the Bosnian as they need a suitable replacement for Andres Iniesta who has moved to Japan.
The development according to Tuttosport has forced the Old Ladies to move into action as they plan to offer Pjanic a new contract on his return from his holidays.
However, the terms of the new contract are not yet clear although Juventus will need to offer a significant rise in his wages.
