Kante likely to miss Chelsea vs Crystal Palace game due to hamstring

Reports from The Daily Telegraph have suggested that Chelsea midfielder and France international N’Golo Kante may be a serious doubt for contention for places in the Chelsea squad to face Crystal Palace this weekend in the Premier League after falling victim to a hamstring injury during the international break.

Kante appeared to have hurt his hamstring in the first half as France secured a 1 nil win away to Bulgaria on Saturday. He was immediately replaced by PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The club will now conduct checks on the player to ascertain the degree of the injury, although it seems unlikely he’ll make it in time for the game against Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, with an all important game coming up against Roma in the UCL, it remains to be seen if Conte will risk the player this weekend.
