The midfielder reportedly met with representatives of Barcelona football club during the international break as he played no part in Germany’s friendlies due to injury.

The German is said to have expressed positive gestures in the meeting although the Catalan giants are wary of Bayern Munich’s pole position for any deal including the player.

Goretzka who plays as a central midfielder has also attracted interest from the likes of Juventus, AC Milan, and Arsenal.
