Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino might play a part in the UEFA Champions League last-16 first leg tie against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at Anfield on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the Brazil international has been pictured arriving at Anfield alongside his team-mates for the fixture that promises to be a cracker.
Regardless, it remains to be seen if he will play any major part on the pitch for Jurgen Klopp’s men against the Bavarian giants.
Roberto Firmino appeared doubtful for the game on Monday after missing his side’s training due to a virus. Therefore, Daniel Sturridge was placed on standby should the Brazilian fail to recover in time for the game as was widely reported before now.
Meanwhile, Dejan Lovren will miss the game having played no part in the training on Monday. Lovren has been suffering from a hamstring problem but is believed to be undergoing rehabilitation.
It can be recalled that Virgil Van Dijk is suspended for the game and this has left Jurgen Klopp only with a possible partnership of Fabinho and Joel Matip in central defence when Bayern come visiting.
