Major boost for Napoli and Koulibaly and Malcuit return

Napoli have been boosted with the return of defenders Kelvin Malcuit and Kalidou Koulibaly from injuries. Koulibaly was sidelined with a hamstring after the game against Parma in December and has been out of action for two months while Malcuit suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament in October.

Although the Senegalese played against Lecce in February, he played no part in their last five games including the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg clash against Barcelona. The duo took part in some fieldwork on Tuesday with the rest of the team.

The return is a major boost ahead of the return leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final fixture against Inter Milan at the San Paolo on Thursday. Napoli stole a 1 nil lead at the San Siro three weeks ago and will be looking to defend their lead at home.

Koulibaly has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Napoli this season while Malcuit, who plays for Morocco has played 5 games for Napoli.
