Malang Sarr offered to two Serie A clubs

Chelsea FC defender Malang Sarr has reportedly been offered to two Serie A clubs as he makes attempts to get his career back on track after being cast aside at Stamford Bridge.

He is back at Chelsea after a loan stint with Porto’s B side after facing challenges with the first team in the first half of the 2020/21 season.

It can be recalled that Sarr, 22, joined Chelsea as a free agent in August 2022 from NIce after four successful seasons where he made 119 appearances as a teenager.

According to reports, the player’s representatives have proposed for him to make a move to AC Milan or Napoli. Both clubs are interested in replacements for two of their respective key figures in their teams.

Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly will leave for the Africa Cup of Nations when it commences while AC Milan’s Simon Kjaer, who is out for the rest of the season with a ligament injury.

Napoli are believed to have been following Sarr for almost two years as a potential replacement for Koulibaly if he left. He has a market value of €7.5m but both clubs would be interested in a loan move as they try to boost their defense ahead of the second half of the 2021/22 Serie A season.
