According to journalist Jonathan Shrager, Manchester United are still keeping tabs on Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White after making recent inquiries about his availability.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add more quality to his team in the summer and the signing of a center-back is the club’s top priority.
They’ve been monitoring several players in the Premier League and across Europe’s elite leagues like Sevilla’s Joules Kounde, Atletico Madrid’s Stefan Savic, and RB Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konate.
One of the options in the Premier League is Ben White based on claims and the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old’s performances at Brighton.
Meanwhile, it is not yet clear how high or low the player’s name features in the club’s center-backs shortlist.
Regardless, the defender is also attracting interest from other Premier League clubs and Brighton are likely to demand a big transfer fee for the player who presently has more than three years his current contract with the club.
This will eventually be the case if they manage to escape relegation and remain in the Premier League next season.
