Manchester United have reportedly made a £35m bid for Benfica attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, with Jose Mourinho keen to wrap up another summer signing after moves for Fred and Diogo Dalot.
Talisca is yet to make his debut for the Brazil national team despite earning call-ups under Dunga and Tite. However, it is also reported that two Chinese Super League clubs have also matched Man United’s bid for the attacker.
Talisca has spent the last two season away on loan to Besiktas where he has hit the back of the net 37 times in 80 games and the Portuguese giants want to offload the player this summer on a permanent basis. Reports indicate that Talisca’s agent has been in Lisbon in the last few days trying to finalize a decision over his client’s future.
Meanwhile, Besiktas have the option to sign Talisca permanently this summer for around £18m, but must submit their bid by June 31 or the clause expires. Man United have already signed Diogo Dalot from Porto this summer while an offer for Fred has been accepted by Shakhtar Donetsk ahead of his switch to Old Trafford.
