Players observing don Seluvis’s eerie face mask without wearing his giant hat can use the Mask of Confidence. When finally gotten and equipped, the wearer receives +3 Arcane which helps in Item Discovery and Proccing Bleed build-up.
Sadly, you cannot get this Mask of Confidence on a low level of your character. But, you will need to push further into the Ranni the Witch questline where you can access the secret areas of the Carian Study Hall.
In continuing or you’re about to start the Ranni’s questline, you will need to meet and talk to Ranni in Ranni’s Rise in western Liurnia of the Lakes. Also, you must have Starscourge Radahn dead to unlock the Nokron, Eternal City, and continue Ranni’s quest.
Once you have advanced to the Nokron, Eternal City, you will be able to obtain the Fingerslayer Blade and return to Ranni to receive the Carian Inverted Statue. After that, advance to the Study Hall Entrance which is at the lower Slope North of the tower connected to the trail from the Eastern Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace.

Once inside, you will have to activate the statue by placing it on the pedestal that is nearer to the globe which is at the center of the lobby. Then, a cutscene will play and reveal the inverted version of the Carian Study Hall.
Mask of Confidence Location in Elden Ring
You will have to travel to the Carian Study Hall, which is a landmark situated on the road to the western cliffs of Liurnia of the Lakes in Elden Ring.
Move into the big spire that’s in front of you. You will need to be watchful here as you will be engaged by lesser Fingercreepers guarding the pathway. Annihilate them and find your way in and you will be confronted once more by a Mage.

You will have to win this mage and advance to the southeast and jump down onto the small ledge that is sitting below and look around to find a corpse hanging out of a small hole. Loot the corpse and you will find the Mask of Confidence in Elden Ring.
