Oumar Niasse charged by FA for conning referee in Palace game

Everton forward and Senegalese international Oumar Niasse has been hit with an FA charge for the “successful deception of a match official” in the course of last weekend’s Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace which ended in a draw.

Niasse went down after minimal contact from Scott Dann in the fifth minute of the game, resulting in a penalty which Leighton Baines stepped up to convert.

The Senegalese then proceeded to score the equalizer in the game which ended in a 2 all draw at Selhurst Park. He has been given a deadline of 18:00 GMT on Monday to respond to the charge.
