Pablo Mari Arsenal move in danger of collapse

Pablo Mari’s move to Arsenal from Flamengo is in danger of not materializing because of a late hitch that has stalled negotiations between the two clubs.

The 26-year-old was in London alongside Arsenal sporting director Edu for a medical on Saturday which was completed, and it seemed as though there would be no issues with the deal being finalized.

However, a report from Daily Mail says that Mari has flown back to Brazil amid suggestions that a deal has not yet been agreed between Arsenal and Flamengo for a transfer fee which is £7m. Arsenal want the player on loan with an option to buy in the summer while Flamengo prefer an outright sale.
