Reports in Spain suggest that Paul Pogba is intensifying efforts to force a January move from Man United to Real Madrid. It can be recalled that the French midfielder was linked with a move to the La Liga giants throughout the summer but eventually stayed put at Old Trafford.
Pogba has struggled with an ankle injury that has kept him on the sidelines since the 1 all draw at home to Arsenal at the end of September. He has been pictured recently in Miami as he works on returning to full fitness.
It is believed that the trip may have also been put in place to help Pogba recover fully in time for a winter move to Real Madrid, reports in Spain have suggested.
In a chat on radio show Tiempo de Juego, journalist Paco Gonzalez made a claim that the 26-year-old has attained full fitness but has not asked to play. Even sources at the Man United are said to have confirmed the claims. It is also believed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be open to a January move for Pogba.
Any deal that sees Pogba move from Man United to Real Madrid would be in the region of £130m. Meanwhile, the club have missed him in recent games, having to make do with Fred who has not lived up to expectations since the move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
