Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to return to action against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup.
The Frenchman was seen limping heavily in the Red Devils’ 1 all draw against Southampton before the last international break and could play no part in Didier Deschamp’s squad due to what turned out to be an ankle injury.
Paul Pogba played no part for the Red Devils in the Premier League 1 nil win against Leicester City and the 2 nil loss away to West Ham. He was also absent in the Europa League hard-fought 1 nil win against Astana.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that Pogba is ready for action on Wednesday night and could be set to play a major role in their upcoming Premier League clash against Arsenal
‘He’ll probably get some minutes against Rochdale,’ he said
‘But we definitely think he’s ready for Arsenal.’
Man United need Pogba in the middle of the park and his return is a major boost to the side’s hopes this season.
