Premier League Matchday 13 – Tricky ties for top five

The Premier League returns this weekend after the international break and we’re looking forward to fireworks in some of the games this weekend.

There is a possibility of major upsets in some of the games and all sides will appear rejuvenated after the players have had breaks from club exertions and could return with a new lease of life.

  • TOTTENHAM VS CHELSEA – LONDON DERBY TO TEST CHELSEA’S UNBEATEN RUN

Maurizio Sarri and his men will play against Tottenham Hotspur being led by Mauricio Pochettino. All eyes will be on the two forwards for the sides to assess their contributions in the course of the game.

Harry Kane will undoubtedly lead the line for Spurs while Alvaro Morata is expected to start for Chelsea. We’ll see who’ll be key men for their sides. Eden Hazard who appears to have gone cold recently will have to stand up and be counted in this one if the Blues want to keep up with the league leaders.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s unbeaten run and credentials will be tested. One point separates the two sides with Chelsea currently above Spurs.

  • BOURNEMOUTH VS ARSENAL – POTENTIAL BANANA PEEL FOR THE GUNNERS

Unai Emery’s Arsenal will travel to the Vitality Stadium to face Eddie Howe’s Cherries.

Bournemouth have been very formidable at home as only Manchester United have won there in the last 10 games this season.

The high-flying Man City face West Ham who are being led by former boss Manuel Pellegrini at the London Stadium.

No one can easily guess when next the Citizens will drop any points, but the Hammers can pose a challenge. Regardless, Manchester City are obvious favorites for the win in this one, added with the injuries to some key players in Pellegrini’s side.

  • WATFORD VS LIVERPOOL
