Real Madrid have insisted that they are counting on Luka Jovic next season and won’t sell him despite being linked with a move for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang.
Real signed the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward for £50m after he impressed heavily in the 2018/19 campaign. After the move, the player has failed to replicate his brilliant form at the Bernabeu.
The 22-year-old also came under fire recently for supposedly infringing on lockdown rules by flying back to Serbia earlier in March.
Regardless, Real manager Zinedine Zidane has ruled out the sale of Luka Jovic in a statement to Spanish outlet AS.
