Mane also played the role of the speaker at the grand opening of the hospital in June 2021. The facility features a maternity care department
2. Donated £41,000 To The Senegalese Government During The Pandemic
During the raging COVID-19 pandemic, the forward made a charitable donation of £41,000 to the Government of Senegal in March 2020. The donation was made to the National Committee that was set up to curb the menace of the pandemic that was deadly at the time.
3. Donated £250,000 To A New Secondary School
It can be recalled that he donated £250,000 to help fund a school in Bambali in the spring of 2019 when Liverpool was in the latter stages of their successful campaign in the UEFA Champions League.
4. Donated Laptops To Students In Bambali
The Senegalese footballer has also contributed to enhancing the educational experience of students in Bambali. He gave out laptops to students alongside a donation of £320 to the best academic students in the institution.
5. Donated Over 300 Liverpool Shirts To Bambali Residents
One thing is for sure! Liverpool FC has a strong fan base in Bambali based on Mane’s antecedents. He gave out over 300 Liverpool shirts to his hometown folks so they could wear them to watch the 2018 UEFA Champions League final.
However, they didn’t end up celebrating with the shirts at the time as Real Madrid came out tops against the Reds in the final game. Regardless, the Reds went on to win the Champions League the following season.
