Mourinho has been desperate for a forward who can play through the middle since Harry Kane was forced to the sidelines for a lengthy period with a hamstring injury.

The PSV Eindhoven star will be suitable for the role and will provide Spurs with a huge boost in their attempt to close the gap on Chelsea in fourth place.

PSV have struggled this season and sit 11 points behind Ajax. Regardless, Bergwijn has played his part this season with 5 goals and 10 assists in 16 appearances.
