Spurs investigate Aurier for supposedly breaking lockdown rules

Tottenham Hotspur are investigating after defender Serge Aurier seemingly broke social distancing rules for the third time by getting a haircut done during the lockdown.

The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international posted a picture on Instagram on Tuesday night where he was showing off his new looks and tagged the stylist barber Justin Carr in the post.

A statement released by the club to this effect read: “We are investigating the circumstances and will deal with the incident appropriately.”

Aurier has been previously ordered to make two apologies for breaking lockdown rules, having posted a video of himself engaging in a race with a friend and also training with team-mate Moussa Sissoko.

It can be recalled that the North London club came under fire last month after manager Jose Mourinho was pictured taking a training session in a London park with Tanguy Ndombele alongside Davinso Sanchez and Ryan Sessegnon who were pictured running together.

Tottenham Hotspur have been forced to remind staff about social distancing rules following the incident and it remains to be seen, which action they’ll take against Aurier if he’s found guilty for the umpteenth time.
