Aguero car crash injury confirmed by Manchester City

  Manchester City have confirmed that star striker Sergio Aguero has sustained injuries in a car accident. The Argentine forward will be assessed further by the club's medical staff after the crash which occurred in Netherlands on Thursday night Aguero was reportedly travelling in a taxi in Amsterdam after attending a concert when the crash occurred. The club's statement read: "The City forward was in Holland for a day off and has sustained injuries. He will return to Manchester this morning and his status will be checked ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash at Chelsea" Aguero has been in fine form since the commencement of the season and has already scored seven goals in eight appearances, contributing to City's position at the top of the Premier League table.
