Fred wants to be a key player at United after terrible first season

Man United midfielder Fred has noted that he had an awful debut season at Old Trafford. The Red Devils signed the Brazil international from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal worth £48 million in the summer of 2018. However, he struggled to feature regularly for the Premier League giants. Fred managed to score 1 goal in 17 Premier League appearances in his debut season and revealed that he had difficulties adapting quickly to life in Manchester at the start. In a recent chat with the Associated Press, Fred said: "I believe the first season was very difficult for me,"  "There was the process of settling down here, but also other personal things that were happening in my life, such as the birth of my son. Manchester United midfielder Fred has admitted that the criticisms by United legends after the Newcastle defeat in the Premier League were justified as they won numerous titles with the club in their time. Man United make £35m bid for Anderson Talisca

Manchester United have reportedly made a £35m bid for Benfica attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca, with Jose Mourinho keen to wrap up another summer signing after moves for Fred and Diogo Dalot.
