La Liga plan to open stadiums for the last four games of the season

Cadena SER’s ‘El Larguero’  program has revealed that the date for the return of fans to Stadiums for La Liga games is fast approaching. According to them, the Spanish Ministry of Health has received the proposal and are close to approving it. The set date for reopening of stadiums for La Liga games has been pushed to May 9, and this would allow fans to attend cracking games like Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid vs Sevilla. As we all know, the title race has been thrown wide open and these fixtures are key to who emerges victoriously from the race. A report by Daily Mail claims that La Liga is set to return with games to be played every day for a month. According to the league president, Javier Tebas, La Liga will finish its season once football returns in June. La Liga was put on hold in March along with other major leagues around the world due to coronavirus. The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have made an official announcement, proposing the possibility of allowing five substitutions during games if football is resumed in the country. This suggestion has been previously made by FIFA and would be introduced to help teams in the management of player fitness after being away from the game for a long period.
