Tuchel urges PSG to decide quickly on Neymar’s future

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has urged the club to decide on Neymar's future as quickly as possible. The Brazilian who has been heavily linked with a summer return to Spain played no part in PSG's Ligue one 4 nil win over Toulouse on Sunday. In a chat with Canal+ (h/t Goal's Josh Thomas), Tuchel said: "It has always been our goal to close this folder as soon as possible. Leonardo knows that I want to keep him. But that doesn't depend only on him. The situation is not very clear, yes. And we must clear it up." It can be recalled that Neymar suffered an ankle injury in June which ruled him out of the Copa America, causing him to spend the pre-season in recovery. Significant changes are expected at Real Madrid this summer after a very disappointing 2018/19 football season where they finished third in La Liga and ended up without a trophy. The changes are beginning to come into fruition though as new boss Zinedine Zidane has overseen the expenditure over €300m in the current transfer window. Real Madrid announced the capture of Lyon left-back Ferland Mendy on Wednesday in a deal worth €50m to compete with Marcelo for a starting berth in the left-back position. Mendy is Zidane's fifth signing, having overseen the arrival of Rodrygo (€54m), Eder Militao (€50m), Luka Jovic (€65m) and Eden Hazard (€100m). Meanwhile, some players are expected to leave the club after these major acquisitions to avoid any questions over Financial Fair Play (FFP...

Tuchel – Man United is a great test and a challenge

Paris Saint Germain boss Thomas Tuchel is ready for the great test that awaits his side when they take on Jose Mourinho's Manchester United in the R16 stage of the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League. The draw was obviously not the best for the Red Devils going by how they've struggled this season but their fighting spirit against Juventus in the group stages of the competition is one that PSG should be wary of. Man United have never faced PSG before and will now come up against former winger Angel Di Maria, as well as Neymar, Mbappe and Edinson Cavani. PSG scored 17 goals in Group C to seal top spot ahead of the likes of Liverpool and Napoli. Regardless of how the Ligue 1 giants seem to be favorites on paper, Tuchel has stated that his side will not approach any of the two-legged ties ...
