Another highly-rated Chelsea youngster could be set to leave Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2021/22 season, albeit on loan. We’ve seen some of them leave already.
Armando Broja recently signed a new contract with the Blues for another five years some weeks ago and has been one of the most impressive for the Blues in the ongoing pre-season exertions.
However, it was expected that he would go on another loan move this summer than stay with the first team and see his chances of playing severely limited due to those above him on the pecking order.
The Blues have seen their senior players return after their summer holidays and Broja will now be free to pick his next destination. According to seasoned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, his next destination could be Serie A outfit Udinese.
Udinese are currently managed by Maurizio Sarri’s former assistant at Chelsea Luca Gotti and have made an inquiry and begun some level of talks with the Londoners.
It can be recalled that Broja spent last season on loan at Eredivisie outfit Vitesse where he scored 11 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions with 24 starts to his name.
The 19-year-old has seen his stock rise meteorically in recent years and is expected to continue his development in the upcoming season.
