Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has cast doubts on his longevity as manager of the Catalan outfit as he’s yet to receive an offer of a new deal from the club.
Valverde has a contract with Barcelona until 2020, although there is an option on the contract which states that the deal can be terminated a year before if there is a decline in the performance of the club.
Barcelona won the La Liga last season under Valverde and currently sit three points above title rivals at the top of the log this season.
The manager has started speculating on his future as the club have been silent on any contract renewal offers.

‘I do not know what I will do next season’
‘In this football, who knows? We all know how things are. I never think long or long term.
‘For us, two months are a very long term. If you win a game, everyone is happy and if you lose, everyone is watching you.
Barcelona are favorites for the title this term as their biggers rival Real Madrid appear to be out of sorts in the ongoing season.
Regardless, the manager has admitted the immense and constant pressure at the club, as well as how he’ll be judged with the performances his side puts up from time to time.
‘If you do not win the league, everyone looks at the coach because it is marked like that,’ he added.
‘I try to meet the objectives and, of course, how much we have left, so let’s see it.’
