UCL – Bodo Glimt vs Man City – 2

The UEFA Champions League returns on January 20, 2026, and teams will be looking to secure safe places on the log as quickly as possible. This is a tricky tie for the Citizens away to Norway’s strong men, Bodo Glimt. However, Pep Guardiola’s men are coming off the back of a 2-0 loss away to city rivals Manchester United in the Premier League and will seek redemption with this UCL away fixture. The home side are yet to win at home in the UCL this season, with 2 losses and 1 draw against teams of lesser quality than Man City, while Man City have won 2 and drawn 1 out of 3 away games in the UCL this term. The Norwegians will be up for this, but the Citizens should be too strong for them regardless of their inconsistency in the domestic terrain. BTTS and over 2.5 are big possibilities in this game too.

UCL – Real Madrid vs Monaco – 1

Real Madrid will be intent on securing their spot of automatic qualification to the next phase of the UCL when Ligue 1 outfit Monaco visit the Bernabeu on Tuesday. Just 3 points separate the two sides, with Madrid on 12 while Monaco have 9. The last time these two sides met was in the UCL in 2004, where both sides won against the other; 4-2 to Madrid at home and 3-1 to Monaco in France. However, Alvaro Arbeloa’s men will count on their experience to see off the French test. It won’t be easy, but the home side should come out on top. BTTS and over 2.5 are big possibilities in this game too.

Championship – Coventry vs Millwall – 1X

Frank Lampard’s Coventry returned to winning ways by beating Leicester 2-1 at home and will be looking to maintain the momentum, with just 6 points separating them from 2nd place. They can’t afford to lose this game and should be good for all 3 points considering how good they have been at home, with just 1 loss to bogey side Ipswich Town and 9 wins in their last 10 home games. Millwall will try to compete, but their form away from home leaves more to be desired. We’ll go with a safe 1X option for Coventry.

UCL – Sporting vs PSG – X2

Sporting CP and PSG have been decent thus far, with 10 points and 13 points respectively, but it appears that the French giants live for this kind of encounter. They are yet to lose away from home, but Sporting have won all 3 home games in the UCL this term. However, PSG will be too strong for the Portuguese giants and should get at least a point from this game.

Championship – Ipswich vs Bristol – 1X

Just 2 points separate Ipswich from the second automatic qualification spot to the Premier League as they welcome Bristol City to their home turf, where they have won 6 from the last 6 games, including beating leaders Coventry away from home. They have been brilliant in recent games, with 4 consecutive wins preceded by 1 draw in their last 5 games. The away side may pass for decent, but I don’t think they will be able to wrestle all 3 points from the home side, hence the safe home win or draw option for the hosts.

Saudi Professional League – Al Ahli vs Al Khaleej – 1

This is a league where upsets are a norm on matchdays, but Al Ahli should see off Al Khaleej and amass all 3 points to stand a chance in the title race. Al Khaleej have been poor away from home, and their H2H in 7 visits to Al Ahli is 4 losses and 3 draws. Their away form reads 3 losses, 1 draw, and 1 win in their last 5 games. The home side should do enough to amass all 3 points in this one and move into the top 3, mounting pressure whilst other contenders are yet to play.
