Bundesliga – Hamburger vs Bayern Munich – 2
Bayern Munich have won the last 10 consecutive meetings against Hamburger and will be looking to maintain this impressive run when they face them away from home in the Bundesliga’s late fixture on Saturday.
The home side has been on a drawing and losing spree in the last 5 games, and Bayern Munich, who shockingly lost to Augsburg in their last match, will be looking to bounce back. The Bavarian giants have won their last 5 games away from home and will look to consolidate their top spot without giving the chasing pack any ideas.
Premier League – Chelsea vs West Ham – 1
Chelsea seem to have been rejuvenated after the arrival of Liam Rosenior but face a tricky London derby against West Ham, who are trying to put together some kind of winning run. The previous 5 meetings have resulted in 1 win for the Hammers and 4 consecutive wins for the Blues, making Chelsea the favorites.
The Blues will be looking to maintain the gap between them and the UCL spots, and close it further, while the Hammers are fighting to remain in the Premier League as they sit 18th on the table, 5 points adrift of safety. Regardless, with Chelsea’s recent change of fortunes, they should do enough to garner all 3 points at Stamford Bridge.
La Liga – Elche vs Barcelona – 2
Hansi Flick’s side have recently made it a habit to concede first and then come from behind to win, and today’s clash against a relegation-threatened Elche may be no different. The home side are 12th in La Liga, but just 3 points separate them from the relegation places. Barcelona will want to win and mount more pressure on Real Madrid, who are hotly chasing them, and that’s what we are going for.
Championship – Ipswich vs Preston – 1
Preston have been out of sorts in the last 4 games with 4 losses and no goals scored, while Ipswich are looking good to snatch one of the top 2 places on the Championship table. Ipswich have been impressive at home with 7 consecutive home wins, along with 2 draws and 8 wins in the last 10 home games. I see them taking Preston to the cleaners.
Iraq – Al Shorta vs Al Najaf – 1
Al Najaf have been poor, with 8 losses and 1 draw in their last 9 games. They have just 7 points from 15 games and should be no match for Al Shorta, who are fighting for the title and separated from the top spot by just 3 points. Al Shorta are overwhelming favorites and should win this game against possibly the second-worst away side in the league.
Northern Ireland – Linfield vs Ballymena – 1
Linfield have won the last 17 home games against Ballymena in a row, and today’s clash shouldn’t be any different. Linfield should come out on top in this encounter, as they have been doing with ease in recent times.
South Africa – Orlando Pirates vs Magesi – 1
Orlando Pirates are fighting for the domestic league title and currently sit 3rd, 3 points away from the top position. They welcome bottom-placed Magesi, who are also fighting to remain in the league. However, the home side is expected to be too strong for Magesi, as they are brilliant at home with 11 consecutive home wins. Their last domestic loss was 2-1 in August 2025, away to Marumo Gallants. I see them getting all the points from this one in their race for the Betway Premiership title.
Northern Ireland – Crusaders vs Larne – 2
This is a tough game, but Larne have been impressive away to Crusaders, with 5 wins and 1 draw in the last 6 games against the home side. Larne also sit at the top of the table with 59 points and will be looking to widen the points gap between them and the chasing pack. Crusaders have lost their last 3 games, and I don’t see them bouncing back against the league leaders who know how to dominate them in front of their home fans.
