Premier League – Arsenal vs Sunderland – 1
Arsenal still have major says in all competitions this season and are looking good for their first Premier League title in decades under Mikel Arteta. They welcome a tricky Sunderland to the Emirates this weekend and will be intent on grabbing all 3 points, especially as the major chasing pack have big fixtures this weekend. The Gunners will look to bounce back from the 3:2 defeat to Man United at the Emirates, and I don’t have any hopes of the Black Cats causing an upset in this game.
La Liga – Barcelona vs Mallorca – 1
Hansi Flick’s men are favored to get all 3 points today with ease, and we back them to go all out against a struggling Mallorca side who have lost 3 and drawn 2 of their last 5 games away from home. Barcelona’s worst result against Mallorca in decades has been draws, but we expect them to grab all 3 points and maintain the gap against Real Madrid, hoping that they slip up against Valencia at the hostile Mestalla.
Czech – Slavia Prague vs Mlada Boleslav – 1
Slavia Prague are topping the Chance Liga with 46 points, 5 points above Sparta Prague, and will not have it in their thoughts to slip up against Mlada Boleslav. They’ve won the last 6 consecutive meetings against today’s visitors, and we don’t expect anything different today.
Wales – TNS vs Penybont – 1
TNS are the big boys in Wales’ Cymru Premier and will face a tricky challenge when Penybont come visiting. Regardless, they remain favorites for all 3 points. TNS top the log with 56 points, 7 points above second place, and wouldn’t want to give the chasing pack any hopes. In the last 10 meetings between the two sides, TNS have won 8 and Penybont have won 2. TNS are almost flawless at home with 12 wins and 1 loss in 13 games, and have won 8 and drawn 2 against Penybont at home. The last 4 meetings in this venue have all been wins for TNS, and we hope that it repeats today.
Scotland League One – Inverness vs East Fife – 1
East Fife have been out of sorts in their last 7 games, losing all, and will be paying a visit to the table toppers. Your guess is as good as mine. Inverness, who are being hotly pursued by Stenhousemuir, both level on points, with 1 less game played, will look to leverage the poor form of the visitors and restore their points gap lead over the chasing pack. Inverness are also on an impressive home run with 12 wins and 1 draw in the last 13 games and should do enough to secure all 3 points.
Saudi Arabia – Al Qadsiah vs Al Fateh – 1
Al Qadsiah have been very decent in recent games, and we won’t put it past them to secure maximum points at home against Al Fateh. A win takes them to just 4 points below league leaders Al Hilal, and we are sure they won’t pass up this opportunity to be in the title-winning conversation. They should leverage their home run of 8 wins and 2 draws in the last 10 home games and beat Al Fateh.
Championship – Coventry vs Oxford Utd – 1
Frank Lampard’s Coventry seemed unstoppable some weeks back but have seen their form watered down in recent games. However, they still have a lot to play for as Middlesbrough has caught up with them at the top, both level on points with 58 each, and 4 above 3rd placed Hull. They should leverage their impressive home form that has seen them win 10 games and lose 1 out of 11 games to see off Oxford Utd, who are there for the taking away from home. That being said: Coventry for the win!
WSL – Leicester W vs Man United W – 2
Manchester United Ladies are favorites for all 3 points against Leicester Ladies, although they will be playing away from home. They have 2 draws and 6 wins in the last 8 games, with 4 consecutive wins currently, as against Leicester’s 1 win, 1 draw, and 6 losses, 3 being consecutive at the moment. Manchester United Ladies will do enough to garner all 3 points in this game, and we are backing them.
