The attacker’s impact can be seen despite his age after he was even called up to the Super Eagles squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations under former Coach Jose Peseiro.

He didn’t get on the pitch and majorly acted as a motivational figure as the side progressed to the final but lost to hosts Ivory Coast.

Based on research from Wikipedia, Ahmed Musa will be 32 this year and started representing Nigeria at the Under-20 level in 2011, where he scored 3 goals in 6 games.

However, he didn’t live up to the billing at the King Power with just 5 goals in 33 appearances. He was only active for one season with the Foxes and it was in the 2016/17 season.

Since then, after a loan return to CSKA Moscow, he has played for the likes of Al Nassr, returned to Kano Pillars, played for Fatih Karagumruk, and is presently with Sivasspor.

His current contract at Sivasspor, based on information from Transfermarkt is €2.1 million and he reportedly earns around €16,154 per week. It can be recalled that he joined them on a free transfer. His current deal with Sivasspor runs till June 2024.
