This academy gave him the chance to show off his skills in Europe at the well-known Gothia Cup. It was during the 2017 edition of the Gothia Cup that Yusuf’s abilities stood out.

His exceptional performance caught the eye of scouts from IFK Göteborg, a Swedish club. The Gothia Cup, famous for featuring future football stars like Xabi Alonso and Andrea Pirlo, became the turning point in Yusuf’s career.

His Incredible performances earned him a trial with IFK Göteborg, which eventually led to a permanent move to the club.

From 2018 to 2021, Yusuf played for IFK Göteborg, making 66 appearances and scoring 2 goals. His time at IFK Göteborg helped him grow as a player and prepared him for bigger challenges.
